Based out of historic Idaho Springs, Marigold is a boutique floral and home goods shop. We believe in the power of exceptional design and the community that floral design can create. Through the gift and experience of flowers, we believe our brides, standing clients, and the everyday ‘just because’ customers are all creating a connection however ephemeral or long-lasting.
We are a creative floral design company focused on inspiring people to enjoy life through design and personal relationship. Through our bridal bouquets, monthly subscriptions, flower installations and human connections we aim to illuminate. Marigold brightens.

MEET MARIGOLD
Our story begins at the beginning of course...
Since childhood, Tara has been creative, intuitive, a natural at design and connected to nature. It didn’t occur to her that she could combine all of her gifts and skills into something meaningful, until she began working with flowers. After some procrastination, feelings of wrong turns or failed outcomes, she began following her calling as a floral designer.
As things felt like they were coming together and the puzzle pieces were beginning to fit, Tara came across an entry her mother had written in her baby book. It described how her parents and sister would tickle her, chanting “tickle, tickle, tickle,” as families so often do. One day, her mother found Tara in the garden, bent low beside the marigolds, her small fingers reaching toward their petals softly saying: “tickle, tickle, tickle.” And with that story came the inspiration for Marigold.
Marigold is dedicated to the same sweetness of little Tara’s friendly tickling of the flowers in every arrangement we create. Tara LOVES her clients and nothing brings her greater joy than the feeling she gets when an arrangement or bridal bouquet translates into a beautiful moment, like the one in her baby book.
Marigold is her space to create custom floral that can bring light and exquisite thoughtful design to wonderful clients.
